Black Swamp SoundArt Concert Tambourine
Our SoundArt tambourines reinvented the true orchestral tambourine sound. The steam-bent, single ply shell produces a superior tone, which is complemented by a variety of jingles made from tonally rich metal alloys.
Chromium 25 Tambourines - TD1/ TD1S / TS1 / T12-1
Chromium 25 jingles are very bright, articulate and crunchy. As the tambourine is "played in," it will be an extremely articulate sound that is surprisingly full bodied.
German Silver Tambourines - TD3 / TD3S / TS3 / T12 -3
German Silver jingles produce a bright and pure tone which has been used in musical instruments for centuries. A classic tambourine sound.
Chromium 25 / Silver Tambourines - TC2 / TC2S
The Chromium 25 and German Silver jingle mix has crunch and articulation balanced with sustain heard during shake rolls or louder dynamics. Brighter than the Chromium 25 / Bronze mix.
Chromium 25 / Bronze Tambourines - TC1 / TC1S / TC12-1
The Chromium 25 and Phosphor Bronze jingle combination has a crunchy bite, full sonority, and excellent projection. By far our most popular jingle configuration.
Beryllium Copper Tambourines - TD4 / TD4S / TS4 / T12-4
Beryllium Copper jingles have a complex sonority that is a warm balance between lushness and zing.
Phosphor Bronze Tambourines - TD2 /TD2S
Phosphor Bronze jingles produce a dark sound that will become more wet, or increase sustain, over time. Bronze has a ringing quality that produces beautiful color and rolls.

Product Features
Shell
The core of a SoundArt tambourine is a solid, Ash shell. We use skilled hand craftsmanship and advanced machinery to showcase the shell's natural beauty.
Jingles
Our jingles are hammered in such a way to produce a full sonority while balancing characteristics such as attack, tessitura, sustain, projection, and tone.
Jingle Slots
Parallel jingle slots are two different depths. This allows the jingle sets to contact the shell at different times, creating a fuller, more robust sound.
Heads
SoundArt tambourines are available with either translucent calf, or Remo Renaissance heads.
